General terms and conditions of DBK d.o.o. were compiled in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act (ZVPot), the Personal Data Protection Act (ZVOP-1), the Electronic Communications Act (ZEKom-1) and on the basis of the recommendations of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and international codes for e-commerce.
The online store www.shop.dbk.si (hereinafter "online store") is operated by DBK d.o.o., as a provider of e-commerce services (hereinafter "provider"). Upon registration in the online store system, the visitor obtains a username that is the same as his e-mail address and password. The username and password of the user are unambiguously determined and linked to the entered data. By registering, the visitor becomes a user and acquires the right to purchase.
The General Terms and Conditions of Business deal with the operation of the online store, user rights and the business relationship between the provider and the customer.
Availability of information
Items on offer
Due to the nature of business via the World Wide Web, the offer of the online store is updated and changed frequently and quickly.
Prices are presented as Regular Prices and Online Prices. Regular prices are usually the recommended selling prices of the manufacturer or importer or the prices set by the provider.
DBK d.o.o. is not responsible for disruptions in the course of the service resulting from the conduct of the user (e.g. computer infected with viruses) or route providers or infrastructure used by the online store service (e.g. internet outages).
Obligation of responsibility
The provider makes every effort to ensure the up-to-dateness and correctness of the information published on its pages. Nevertheless, the characteristics of the items, the delivery time or the prices may change so quickly that the provider fails to correct the information on the websites. In such a case, the provider will notify the customer of the changes and allow him/her to withdraw from the order or replace the ordered item.
The provider is not responsible for the content of opinions on items written by visitors. Prior to publication, the opinion provider reviews and rejects those that contain obvious untruths, are misleading or offensive. The provider is not responsible for the information in the opinions and disclaims any liability arising from the information in the opinions.
Although the provider strives to provide accurate photographs of the items sold, all photographs must be taken as symbolic. The photos do not guarantee the properties of the product.
The consumer must return the item to the seller undamaged and in the same quantity, unless the item has been destroyed, damaged, lost or its quantity has decreased without the consumer being at fault. The consumer may not use the items until the withdrawal from the contract. The consumer may inspect and test the articles to the extent strictly necessary to establish the actual situation. The consumer is liable for a reduction in the value of the goods if the reduction is the result of conduct not necessarily necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods. The consumer must check immediately upon receipt of the shipment that the shipment has arrived undamaged. The provider does not guarantee that the order can be successfully stopped or canceled. Partial order cancellation is not possible.

Complaints and disputes
DBK d.o.o. respects applicable consumer protection legislation. It also makes every effort to fulfill its duty to establish an effective system for handling complaints and to appoint a person with whom, in case of problems, the customer can contact by phone +386 41 409 268 or by e-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org. The complaint procedure is available on websites that are easy to use and confidential.
The provider will acknowledge receipt of the complaint within five working days, inform the buyer how long it will take to process it and keep him/her informed of the progress of the procedure.
The provider is aware that the essential feature of a consumer dispute, at least as far as judicial settlement is concerned, is its disproportion between the economic value of the claim and the costs incurred in resolving the dispute itself. This is also the main obstacle to the consumer not initiating a dispute in court. Therefore, the provider strives to the best of its ability to resolve any disputes amicably.
The online price is valid for all members of the online store. Everyone becomes a member by registering in the online store. All prices are without VAT, unless explicitly stated otherwise.
Prices are valid at the time of placing the order and do not have a predetermined validity.
Despite tremendous efforts to provide the most up-to-date and accurate information, price information may be inaccurate. In this case, or in the event that the price of the item changes during the processing of the order, the provider will allow the buyer to withdraw from the purchase, and at the same time the provider will offer the buyer a solution that will go to mutual satisfaction.
The purchase contract between the bidder and the buyer is concluded at the moment when the bidder confirms the order (the buyer receives an electronic message about the status “Order Confirmed”). From this moment on, all prices and other conditions are fixed and apply to both the provider and the buyer.
Defects, replacement, product return
The consumer in this chapter is the customer (natural person) who acquires or uses the products for purposes outside his professional or gainful activity. In other chapters, the term "customer" refers to the buyer and the consumer.
If the delivered products differ from the ordered products (delivery of incorrect products), the buyer or consumer returns the delivered products and the provider will replace them free of charge with the appropriate ones. The provider also covers the cost of returning the originally delivered products. Originally delivered products can only be returned in the original packaging.
If the delivered products do not meet the characteristics or specifications of the ordered products (delivery of defective products), the buyer must notify the provider within eight days from the date of receipt of the product. If the defect could not be observed during the normal inspection (hidden defect), the buyer must notify DBK d.o.o. he shall otherwise lose this right within eight days of the day on which he/she notices the error. DBK d.o.o. shall not be liable for defects which appear after six months have elapsed since the product was delivered.
The consumer or the buyer must describe the defect in more detail in the defect notice and allow DBK d.o.o. an inspection of the item.
The consumer or the buyer, who has notified the provider of the defect in a timely and correct manner, has the right to request, within two years from the submission of the defect notification, the latter to:
• rectify the product defect, or
• return part of the amount paid in proportion to the error, or
• replace the defective product with a new faultless product, or
• return the amount paid.
In any case, the consumer or the buyer also has the right to demand compensation from the provider, and in particular compensation for the costs of materials, replacement products, labor, transfer and transport of products incurred due to the fulfillment of the obligations referred to in the previous paragraph.
Products have a warranty if so stated on the warranty certificate or invoice. The warranty is valid following the instructions on the warranty card and upon submission of the invoice. Warranty periods are stated on the warranty certificates or on the invoice.
Warranty information is also listed on the product introduction page. If there is no warranty information, the product is not under warranty or the information is not known at this time. In the latter case, the buyer can contact the provider, who will provide up-to-date information.

Dealing with damaged shipments
Despite our best efforts to ensure that our shipments arrive undamaged, some damage may occur.
IMPORTANT: Before accepting the shipment, make sure that there are no visible damages on the shipment! If there is damage, report it immediately to the delivery person and take a photo of it, and immediately open the package to make sure that the contents are undamaged. Send the report and pictures of the damaged shipment to the e-mail address firstname.lastname@example.org as soon as possible. If you did not report the damage to the delivery person immediately, the replacement of the item and the refund of the purchase price may be refused, if it is not possible to determine where the damage occurred.

Report the damage to the courier who delivered the shipment to you immediately upon receipt. In the event that no one is present at the address at the time of delivery, the courier leaves a notice of the arrival of the shipment or. on an attempt to hand over the goods. In the event that the courier could not deliver the shipment and you did not pick it up, the buyer will be charged postage for the returned shipment.
